CAP 115 - Research Basics for Advertising and Public Relations


This course presents the basic techniques for finding, collecting, evaluating, and using primary data and secondary information relevant to solving communication problems. Explores library resources, search engines, government, and commercial Web sites, corporate documents and databases. Includes citation formats and presentation methods. Offered fall and winter semesters.
