Inquiry Teaching in Science Graduate Certificate

The graduate inquiry teaching in science certificate provides a unique opportunity for middle and high school science teachers to engage in scientific research, explore science education research, and work with a cohort of motivated teachers. Teachers will grow in their profession as they apply their knowledge from these experiences to develop inquiry-based activities for their students and present their work at regional and national meetings.

The inquiry teaching in science certificate is designed for the practicing middle or high school science teacher who already possesses an M.Ed. Courses taken in the certificate program may be applied toward the M.Ed. in instruction and curriculum with advanced content specialization in science.
